After registration, participants will be grouped for the Evidence Scavenger Hunt. This is our icebreaker to gauge how well they understand the education technology landscape and the current research in the field. It’s fun. It’s fast paced. And it’s surprisingly insightful. By the end, teams won’t just have answers, they’ll have a clearer picture of the EdTech landscape, what’s evidence based, and where innovation is headed. Plus…bragging rights and prizes for the winning teams (because learning is better with a little friendly competition 😉).
Four quick, powerful talks. Four perspectives that matter most. One shared future of learning. We'll hear from a student navigating today’s classrooms, sharing what inspires them, what frustrates them, and what truly helps them learn better, a teacher on what it truly means to be an educator today and how innovation, support, and thoughtful use of EdTech can bring back the joy, respect, and purpose at the heart of teaching. We will also hear from a parents on navigating school transitions & school leader on what it truly means to lead in a time of massive education reform, from the shift from 8-4-4 to CBC, to rising parent expectations, digital learning demands, and changing assessment models. This lightning talk unpacks: • What has actually changed in classrooms and school operations • Teacher Motivations and redesigning learning • Balancing innovation with costs and capacity • Navigating new curricula and digital tools at home
Last year, we started a conversation on ICT and teacher training policy—looking at what’s working, what’s missing, and where improvements are needed. This year, we go further: -Dig deeper into gaps in digital learning infrastructure and teacher readiness -Discuss actionable solutions to support schools, teachers, and learners -Explore policy alignment with innovations, research, and global best practices -Co-create recommendations for the new education policy
